日本のブログやHPなどを見ると、『イギリスの病院ではレイキは保健が適用される』という表現をよく目にします。
確かにNHSの病院でレイキを採用しているところもたくさんあります。
例えば、UCLH(University College London Hospital in London)では、患者は無料でレイキが受けられるのですが、それらの費用は、病院が運営するチャリティ団体が資金を集め、そのお金でセラピストを雇うというシステムを採用しています。
レイキの技術を持つ看護師が、施術を行うこともあるようですね。
そのトレーニング代はどこから出ているのか調査が必要ですね。

上記のようにレイキは英国の一部の病院、多くのホスピスで受け入れられているというのは事実です。
しかし、上記のような病院は一例であり、セラピストを有償で採用しているところは少ないのが現状です。
レイキを取り入れているほとんどの病院では、チャリティまたはボランティア、または寄付で行っているところが多いです。

ちなみに、NHSではなくプライベートの病院や、クリニックなどでレイキを受ける場合は、
有料（相場は１時間5000円から7000円）が一般的です。
もしお手頃価格で受けたい場合は、参加費５ポンドから１０ポンド（750円～1,500円ぐらい）で、レイキシェアに参加し、グループヒーリングを受けるのがおススメです。
その場合、自分もレイキを学ぶ必要がありますけど。。。
